Exchange between the Tona and Sallent elderly clubs 16th November, 2012

The activity consisted of a guided tour around Tona conducted by El Camp de les Lloses team. The groups visited El Camp de les Lloses interpretive centre and afterwards took a train route through some of the historical landmarks of the town. They also had the opportunity of walking the streets of Tona, experiencing its architecture and buildings, and discovering the medicinal waters and the new modern areas.
All the elderly people participated in the activities enthusiastically and enjoyed the experience. From El Camp de les Lloses, thank very much you to everyone!

Volia aprofitar aquesta entrada de la visita de la gent gran de Tona i Sallent pel municipi per reivindicar el patrimoni arqueològic, arquitectònic, natural i social que tenim a Tona. Podríem dir que Tona té un abans i un després de la descoberta de les aigües sulfuroses l’any 1874, i que aquest després a resultat ser gairebé un segle d’estiueig, balnearis i “senyors”. Això fa que Tona sigui el que és, un poble extens, de cases i amb regust burgès i d’estiueig que estem deixant perdre, sense potenciar el nou turisme de qualitat, cultural, de descans i proximitat que s’està generalitzant.
Molt bona la tasca divulgadora que s’està realitzant des del Camp de les Lloses, aquesta visita em recordà la Ruta de l’Aigua que realitzeu sobretot a la primavera! Gran feina!
